  1. My perfect meal would be tacos and pumpkin pie. My grandmother would be the one to make both the tacos and pumpkin pie from scratch and I'd choose those two things because tacos are my favorite food and pumpkin pie is like my number one favorite desert. Tacos can be spicy or sweet and the flavor of the taco meat is just the best. Pumpkin pie is not only amazingly delicious but it is also healthy and the only desert I could eat all of.

  2. I would pick going to Hu-hot because that is my all time favorite place and i would go with my friends because that would be really fun. i chose this because like i said it is my favorite place to eat and its like really good (try it if you haven't). There isn't really any appetizers there so i wouldn't get any and they have desserts but they are not good

  3. My perfect meal would have to be a pile of mashed potatoes. Just one giant plate full of potatoes. The meal would probably include some form of meat too, most likely ham, but the meat would just be a side dish to the potatoes. There would be corn drizzled on top and gravy covering the entire plate. It would be the most magnificent meal of all time. For dessert, I would have a big slice of my great grandma’s apple pie. Her apple pie is the best pie in the whole world. I have eaten a lot of pie in my life, and her pie has to be the best I’ve ever had. This is normally the meal I have on Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday because I get to eat my favorite meal for not only lunch, but also supper. It’s amazing.

  4. My perfect meal would be my grandma's fried chicken and her mashed potatoes. I would also have my dad's Macaroni and tomatoes. For desert food I would have my other grandma's Orange dream salad. I chose these foods because they are all connected to memories from when I was little.
We would go over to my grandma's house for fried chicken and mashed potatoes. I would get to help her make it, or as much as a six year old could help. My dad would make macaroni and tomatoes before we go food shopping so it was pretty much all we had left in the house but it is one of the best things I've eaten. My other grandma would make the orange dream salad for family gatherings and we would always take some home because it wouldn't get eaten completely.

  5. The perfect meal would definitely be my family’s usual Thanksgiving meal. Our Thanksgiving food is a variety of things such as Callie’s Chex-Mix dessert, Nickie’s bacon and maple syrup deviled eggs, Devin’s candy mints and many other recipes that have been carried down from year to year. There are so many delicious foods at our house during the holidays that many can be ignored if they are forgotten or messed up. Although some of these sides can excluded, some major things that could never be overlooked are my mom’s mashed potatoes and gravy, my dad’s smoked turkey and my grandma’s cookies (baked by my mother). There are also those little tortilla and turkey rolls that everyone chows down but has no idea where they came from or what is even in them. The amount of food might seem endless when it comes to my family, but the three turkeys, the honey ham, the pork roast, the loads of pickle and ham bagel dip and the 20-some pies never last through the night. In conclusion, the best meal of all time is the meal that I share with my family for the holidays.

  7. When I am extremely hungry, I know exactly what I would like to eat. Usually, my go to place is Fuji. Fuji is an amazing Chinese buffet near the mall. Chinese never gets old. Whenever I go to a Chinese place, I get the same thing every time. I fill my plate with fried rice, topped with broccoli and chicken, with 2 crab egg rangoons. Oh! It's so good! The rice is so perfect with a little mix of crunchy onions and veggies! The sauce on the chicken and broccoli is delightful and sometimes even a little tangy. And, the rangoons! So crispy on the outside with a sweet, yet savory cream cheese middle. TO DIE FOR! And to top of this perfect, perfect meal, dessert. Immediately after I am done, I head over to the ice cream area. This cool treat, helps settle your bulging stomach with a chocolaty-mint taste. If you ever are in need of a good, large meal, head over to Fuji.

  8. My perfect meal would start with chips and guacamole from a Mexican Restaurant. I would be drinking Brisk Raspberry Iced Tea. My main dish would be cheese ravioli from Olive Garden. I would also have some olive garden salad and bread sticks. My desert would consist of red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting and vanilla ice cream. I chose all of these things because they are my favorite things to eat. Almost every birthday I have I always ask for red velvet cake, it's my favorite. Olive Garden is my all time favorite restaurant, and every time I go there I order the same thing, cheese ravioli.

  9. My perfect meal would consist of a homemade from scratch BLT pizza made by myself, along with a fresh garden salad with ingredients from my family's garden and fried potatoes that were also dug from my family's garden. For a drink I would have water. I choose this because making BLT pizza at home from our own homegrown tomatoes and lettuce along with homemade mayonnaise beats out almost anything else. I also like to have a good, fresh, homegrown salad with homegrown potatoes. It's healthier and less expensive because I grew a lot of the things in the meal myself and it just tastes better, too. I prefer water over most pop because pop is really bad for you and most pop really doesn't even taste that good.

  10. First off, for appetizers I would want my mom’s spicy chicken chip dip and queso. They are both outstanding and I could probably eat them until the end of time. My favorite meal of all time would be steak, cheesy potatoes, corn, and grilled asparagus wrapped in bacon and hollandaise sauce on top of it. For dessert I would want my mom’s bread pudding she makes every Christmas. The steak would ultimately be a prime rib from Caroline’s in Dubuque. It is so amazing and juicy. The cheesy potatoes would have to be made by my aunt Kathy McAllister. She makes them a lot and they’re pretty close to heaven. The corn, asparagus, and bread pudding can be made by my mom. She is the only one that knows how I like these things prepared and she is an outstanding cook. She can make anything and I will eat it. Plus, the dessert, bread pudding, has a special meaning to my family. She serves it every Christmas to my grandparents, sister, and dad and we all look forward to it every year, so it is never underappreciated.

  11. If I got to choose any meal I would choose simple foods. For my drink, I would have a strawberry banana smoothie from the cone shoppe in Monticello. I would start off buy eating my grampy's homemade cheese curds, made with cheddar cheese. He can deep fry the best cheese curds, they are my favorite. For my main dish I would order a regular mac and cheese from Noodles and Company. I would also have my mom make her home cooked lasagna. Both of these main dishes are my favorite main dishes to eat. I would only like to have two sides, green olives and french fries. Any store bought jar of green olives will work. I have always loved green olives; even since I was a little girl. I would prefer my french fries to be from McDonald's, for the main reason that I am really craving them at this moment.

  12. My favorite meal we have to be a six pack and a pound from taco johns. I chose this because I love Mexican food and taco johns has been my one of my favorite places to eat. My other favorite place to eat is Hu Hot because you can choose what you want to put on your plate. Taco johns pack and a pound has six tacos, soft shell, hard shell or both and a pound of potato oles. the first time i got a six pack and a pound I fell in love; I was with my oldest sister and it was after my father fell on the ice and broke his femur. it was a lot of stress on my so Cierra took me to taco johns and told me i could get whatever i wanted, i didn't know what to get so she got me a six pack and a pound and she got a cheesy quesadilla and then a Dr pepper for me and a water for herself. i ate half of the bag when we first got to her house and then i just kept eating it throughout the night.

  13. This is a hard question because there is sooo much food out there I would love to categorize as my "favorite food". But, if I had to choose the most perfect meal I would first start off with an appetizer. My appetizer would be grilled chicken wonton tacos from Applebee's. These are tacos but instead of the crunchy outer layer of the taco, it's a wonton like the breading on a crab ragoon. Inside the taco is grilled chicken in a sweet tangy sauce and coleslaw on top. Then for my meal, I would have orange chicken with lo mien noodles and a vegetable egg roll from Hyvee. Chinese is my all time favorite type of food and I love the sweet flavor of the chicken and the savory taste of the noodles. Plus, the egg roll is an amazing side to the dish with some sweet and sour sauce. Then for desert I would have a cheesecake slice from the cheesecake factory. The ultimate red velvet cheesecake to be exact. Cheesecake is also one of my most favorite foods and to put it together with one of my other favorite foods, would be a tasty meal for me. :)

  14. Although there are ample amounts of food I absolutely love, I would have to pick surf n’ turf (lobster & steak), to be the perfect meal. I’ve liked surf n’ turf ever since I can remember. Every year for Christmas my grandma and tom would host it. They would buy a bunch of lobster and steak to cook up. It is always the best part of Christmas at their house. But no meal is perfect without a side. My favorite side dish would be macaroni and corn, and my grandma makes it better than any I’ve had before. Finally, to finish of the perfect meal, the desert would have to be oreo fluff. It is superior to all other deserts.

  15. My favorite meal would be whenever my mom’s side of the family is together. I enjoy everything that is being severed. My grandma is the best cook in our family. Thanksgiving is usually the best meal but not far behind it is our Christmas meal. For our main course we usually have ham and or turkey. Sometimes on Mother’s or Father’s my grandpa will prepare a juicy loin. My grandpa always finds the best ham or loin. My grandma’s potatoes are unreal. They are so creamy and just pure yum. Another thing we always have is green bean casserole. Not everyone in my family is too flattered by this, but I am for sure. I love it. Corn is always an option too. I choose to mix my corn in with the creamy potatoes. My grandma’s homemade buns are truly the best. They are on the next level of delicious. I could eat them forever and never get sick of them. There is always a veggie tray of some sort. My favorite veggies are carrots. For dessert there is always some sort of cake, pie, cookies, or bars. You name any dessert and my grandma makes the best of it.

  16. If I could have any meal in the whole world. I would include a little bit of all of my favorites. For the appetizer, I would have 1 egg roll, 1 crab rangoon, 1 cheese curd, 1 mozzarella stick, and a salad with raspberry vinaigrette. Then, the main course would be my favorite meal: my grandma's mac-and-corn casserole, mashed potatoes and gravy, steak (medium rare), and Chick-fil-a waffle fries. I would have raspberry iced tea mixed with sprite as my drink (trust me, it sounds weird but it's good). For dessert, I would have a slice of pumpkin pie with whipped cream on top, a chocolate frozen custard from Culver's with hot fudge and brownie bites, one of my grandma's famous chocolate chip cookies (fresh out of the oven), and a scoop of Oreo fluff. I would choose this meal because these are all of my favorite foods.
