  1. Okay if i'm being one million percent honest i think the selfie lighting in the school is so bad. It sucks when you are trying to take a perfect selfie at lunch and you look like an over-exposed potato, that will not get many likes on Instagram. sometimes after P.E it would be nice because then i wont look like a sweaty egg. I think it just needs to be a little brighter is some classes and darker in others and we need to get rid of the yellow lights. That is basically it but yea.

  2. One thing I hate is how marching band isn’t counted as a P.E credit. It totally should be! I’m a cross country runner and there are some days during marching band that I think is harder than practice! It’s a wonderful exercise. Not only are you marching around the field, you are also playing an instrument. In marching band, you aren’t just walking around. You have to roll your toes when you go forward, you have to stay on your tippy-toes when going backward, and you have to keep your steps in time. Keeping your steps in time is really hard to do in a fast song because sometimes I feel like I’m running while playing an instrument and rolling my toes. You might say that it shouldn’t be a P.E credit because it’s an extracurricular activity. I agree it is an extracurricular activity, but it’s during school hours and is physically draining therefore it should be counted as a P.E credit.

  3. Dinkles are foot killers. The way that dinkles sit on your feet, the back of them rubs on the back of your ankles and it causes blisters and sometimes even bleeding. I think that the marching band should be allowed to wear whatever shoes they please. I think that they should be able to bring in their own shoes so that they have a more comfortable experience marching.

  4. Colors. So colors are for everyone right. Then why do people judge when you tell them you don't like a certain color or your favorite color something uncommon. Why is it weird for my favorite color to be black but its not weird for someone to like the color pink. Why do I get labeled as "emo" just because I like wearing black. So someone wearing bright colors has to be happy all the time right, but what if there not. What if the happiest person in the room is the one wearing all black. What if they are waiting for someone to talk to them but no one wants to because they assume something they don't really know about. Same goes for the person wearing bright colors. What if they want to be left alone but instead everyone wants to talk to them. What if they are screaming for help but no ones listening. What were to happen if everyone would stop judging on what you see and start judging on what they show you.

  5. One thing that I hate is the set up off our physical education classes. I feel that the PE classes should be divided up into groups of who has more in common. Right now, we have classes with boys and girls of all different abilities and skill sets just mixed in together. If we have a day when we learn to play basketball, it’s unfair for people to be graded off of how they play when others might already be on a basketball team. This could then make the students who don’t participate in basketball get a bad grade because they aren’t as talented as those who do play the sport. If we are separated to play games, sometimes the teams can be uneven because all the “good” kids are of one side and the “bad” kids on another. This situation can happen with any sport we learn to play.
Another challenge is how boys and girls play when they are on the same team. There are many times when the students are split into teams and then the unexperienced are left out while the “good” players do all the work. When playing football in gym class, the guys will most likely pass the ball to other guys. If there is a time when the ball gets passed to the “bad” player and he/she drops it, they could feel embarrassed because they aren’t good. If this does happen, the other players probably won’t pass to that person anymore and they won’t have the opportunity to get better.
This could also be seen the opposite way, If there are “good” players in the class and everyone is just starting to learn, the experienced won’t be challenged. I an experienced player is on a team with “bad players”, they could be forced to do all the work to try to win. I feel that these problems should be solved as soon as possible so that everyone can get the most out of the physical education class

  6. I'm sorry if I seem like I come off mean this way, but I think taking a whole class period just to take NOTES is totally pointless. There are so many other ways to teach a student something than just putting words on a power point and tell them to write it down. But notes can be a good thing as well, it's good to take notes here and there but not the whole entire class period. A student isn't going learn much just by writing down words on a paper. But, a student will learn so much more if you teach them in a bright way. Yes, taking notes for the whole class period can be easy, but it is so boring and there are better and funner ways to learn. We just have to think outside the box...and I feel like that is something we do not very much in this world. If there is a better way to teach a student, why don't we do it? There is always a better way of teaching a student other than notes. I feel like students and teachers would be more creative and brighter if we stopped using notes as a teaching lesson, but notes are definitely NOT a thing to completely get rid of if that makes any sense.

  7. What really makes me mad is how some men think that women can’t raise a child on their own. I don’t understand why they think we can’t even though you look around and see that 23% of women in the world, raise a child or children by their self and the kid still grows up to be a happy active child. When it comes to me, I’m an aunt of a 4 and a half year old; I look at my sister and see how great of a job she is doing raising him all by herself. She is been taking care of him by herself since he was almost a year old, to me that proves that kids can be raised by just one parent and still behave. Knowing my sister and my nephew for as long as I have, I think Cierra wants help raising him and Jase, I know he would love to have a father who is there for him. I only say this because when Cie drops Jase off at my house, yes she is upset and misses him a lot but she also likes the spaces. Jase loves to play with my boyfriend Parker so much that Jase has called him dad on accident at least three or four different times now.

  8. You know what really grinds my gears? Green Bay Packers fans. Easily some of the worst people on the planet. Honestly. You've had two hall of fame quarterbacks the past 26 years and you've only won two championships in that span. Two. If you add a guy half as good as Aaron Rodgers to Lovie Smith's Bears teams of the 2000's, I guarantee they win at least two Super Bowls. Also let's not forget that Rodgers' collarbones are basically made of glass. It seems like he's breaking one every year and I wouldn't be surprised if he did this year again. In fact, he's already been hurt. He was being harassed all night in week1 against the Bears and finally got a knee injury after he got sacked by Bears' defensive end Roy Robertson-Harris and was taken to the locker room temporarily. Yes, I'm aware that Brett Favre has the second most touchdown passes in NFL history, but he also holds the record for most interceptions. Yes, I agree he should be in the hall of fame, but you all overrate him so much it's criminal. Also, you all went a little "Aaron Rodgers is definite GOAT" after he made a 20-0 comeback against the Bears. Yes, that was great on his part, but I would say that the Bears mostly beat themselves that night. They literally handed Aaron Rodgers the ball with over two minutes to go and said "Here, beat us. Bet you won't" and Rodgers said "Bet." It was also the Bears' head coach's first game ever as an NFL coach, and they have so many new players that evidently hadn't created the needed chemistry to win a football game yet. And last year, the Packers missed the playoffs. In the offseason, they drafted two cornerbacks and signed an aging, out-oh-his-prime tight end and now you are Super Bowl contenders? Yeah, no. And then you had the chance to complete your defense and trade for Khalil Mack, a once in a generation type pass rusher. But no, you screwed that one up too. Instead, you let your arch-rival Chicago Bears go out and get him for two first round picks and a couple other picks. Now, Mack will be terrorizing your injury-prone quarterback at least twice a year for the next seven years. Mack absolutely destroyed your offensive line after holding out of all Oakland Raiders' offseason programs and preseason, which lasted from February until August, and then he was on five days of practice before he faced you. That Khalil Mack you saw, the same one who recorded one sack, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, tremendous quarterback pressure all night and intercepted a pass in which he returned for a touchdown, is only half the Khalil Mack that he will be once he is in full football form. Good luck protecting your quarterback, whom your team is useless without. -Isaac Martin

  9. I think that it’s a pointless rule that students can’t go on their phone in class. And I’m not talking about during a lesson, or when the teacher is talking. I’m talking about when you have nothing to do in the class when there’s an extra 10 minutes and the teacher is done teaching. For instance, I’ve seen a vast majority of teachers give students work to do in class for about 30 minutes, and then the teacher sits at their desk on their phone the whole time. So, I’m not saying that we should be allowed on our phones all the time, just when there is down time in class with nothing to do.

  10. Something that bothers me is how most people at this school act like athletics and sports are everything. In reality sports are important but I feel that your world shouldn't revolve around sports. Yes, sports are important to me and I am guilty of doing this. Sports do take up a big portion of my life. But in reality it is just high school sports. Kids shouldn't have a lot of pressure on them from a young age. Sports are supposed to be fun. I also feel that deserving players should get playing time. I understand that as a coach it is extremely hard to give everyone all equal playing time, because that is just not how it works. I do believe that players who deserve it should have some playing time. But like I said, I get that it is not always possible to do so. My point is that sports are supposed to be fun. When sports are fun I totally enjoy them.

  11. Something that really bothers me is when other people judge others for crying. It bothers me because I am that person who cries all the time. I understand that not everyone cries, and it's harder for some people to cry more than it is for others. I am the complete opposite, I have the biggest heart and I am very sensitive, so crying is just a part of life for me. I don’t want people to feel sorry for me either, that is totally not the point. I know this is weird to say but I sometimes benefit from crying. You're probably thinking I am out of whack, but when anger or frustration is built up inside of me, I cry and let it all out. Next thing you know I am the happiest person on earth. When I am stressed about things I like to cry and somehow, I am relieved. I am very different than most people when it comes to crying so I don’t like to talk about to anyone because of the fear I will be judged. I never want anyone to feel sorry for me, never. I know for my own good that crying makes me feel better, so it just bothers me when other people feel the need to judge me about it.

  12. One thing that really makes me mad is my eye sight. My eye sight is bad which means I either have to wear contacts or glasses. I usually wear contacts but I lately ran out and have been wearing my glasses. I hate glasses because they always get smudge marks all over them and then when you try to clean them, you just end up leaving more smudge marks. Glasses are also really uncomfortable to wear and if you ever want to wear sun glasses or go to a movie and watch in 3D glasses, then you either have to chose to wear the other glasses overtop of your normal glasses or you have to take your normal glasses off and then not be able to see. I don’t like contacts because they sting my eyes every morning I put them in and usually turn my eye bright red. They also add like 5 minutes to the time it takes me to get ready each morning. Also if you accidentally forget to take your contacts out before you go to sleep, then your eyes will hurt so much the next morning. I just wish I had better eyesight and didn’t have to wear glasses or contacts.

  13. Sports are great, don’t get me wrong. I love sports. I’m a pretty competitive person when it comes to sports, but sports get exhausting. They take up so much time and you have to plan your life around them. There is so much pressure to be on varsity and give it your all. But how can u give t your all when you have to save some energy for all your homework and make time for family? You get done with school to go to sports to go do homework to go to sleep. Sports literally plan my life for me. Sports can cause you stress and anxiety and for what? To be involved. If your in a sport your clearly dedicated. -Harley

  14. I’d like to rant about teenage years. They are hard and I sometimes wonder if these years are worth all the hype. Teenagers are mean. School is hard. You can’t drive anywhere until you’re 16. They’re tough. I’m just sick of it all. You are always obligated to do something, no matter what the situation. Also in the back of your head you always know your parents’ expectations are higher than your own so you can never do what you actually want, but what your parents see as acceptable. People always say that high school are the “best years of your life” because of no real adult problems, but I’d say the real-world problems sound pretty decent right now.

  15. I personally believe physical education should not be required for active students. If a student is a part of 3 sports- fall, winter, and spring- they are already getting plenty of physical activity Three seasons of exercising should be a replacement for one season of P.E. Even a 2-sport athlete is getting more exercise than one trimester of P.E. would give you. For example, if a student is in volleyball, basketball, and track, they are getting plenty of exercise, and should not have to worry about P.E. or early-bird strength. I think P.E. and strength should be optional courses.

  16. I believe that all the computer restrictions in school is something that shouldn't be there. One time I was asked to help fix the dual monitor screens in school, but I couldn’t do anything about it because of all the restrictions, even on a teachers account there were still too many restrictions to do what I needed to do. The fact is that to do anything on the computer you need an IT guy here to do it for you otherwise your stuck trying to fumble around the restrictions they have put up which from my experience is not a fun thing to do. So I feel like yes we should have some restrictions but not to many that we cant even do anything.
